Rapperswil-Jona – a well-connected location


Located directly on the banks of the eastern part of Lake Zurich, with a promenade along the harbour, plenty of green spaces, a castle and an old town, Rapperswil-Jona is one of Switzerland’s most charming areas. Its ideal location, in both geographical and transport terms, means it has long been part of the booming business region of Zurich. Rapperswil-Jona is just 30 minutes from both the city of Zurich and Zurich Airport.

Its attractive infrastructure makes it a popular place not just for living and working in but also for leisure activities. The town is also home to various educational institutions, in particular the Ostschweizer Fachhochschule (OST).
